Full Stop would be nowhere without our employees-
-so we have to take care of them! We strive to create a supportive work environment free from bias or judgement. We invite those who are interested in employment with us to submit their resume via email at info@fullstopstation.com. In the interest of full transparency, you can find more details about working at Full Stop below.
basic job DETAILS
All employees are cross trained and are scheduled for both bar and kitchen shifts.
Shifts range from 6-8 hours in length. The earliest opening shift is scheduled to start at 5am, and the latest shift is scheduled to end at 7:30pm, with other shifts starting and ending between those times.
We have required quarterly all-staff meetings to discuss bigger-picture items and to fully communicate larger projects or ideas.
Our schedules are written on a performance basis – a person who is on time, stays on task, and has a good attitude will get the schedule they prefer!
We love to have fun during our shifts at the shop – we are all silly gooses. With that being said, Full Stop is busy, and the general vibe of shifts is one of urgency. There are very few moments on a shift at Full Stop where there is downtime or nothing to do.
When looking at potential candidates, we prefer 2+ years of previous coffee and/or kitchen experience.
COMPENSATION
All employees (aside from managers and leads) start off making $10 an hour. After that, employees are given raises once they hit the 1 year and 2 year marks.
In addition to hourly rate, Full Stop does an even tip share across the week for all employees based on hours worked. This tip share is paid out every week.
Full Stop guarantees $6 an hour on the tip out rate – if for whatever reason the hourly tip rate is less than $6 an hour, Full Stop will pay the difference, ensuring at least a $16 an hour payrate.
All employees start accruing PTO days on their first day of work. Yearly PTO amounts depend on the length of time the person has been employed at Full Stop.
Full Stop offers 2 bereavement days per employee per year.
Employees receive a percentage of the profit for all profitable months based on hours worked. This is paid out in the form of a quarterly bonus.
Employees receive a free shift meal (and needless to say, free coffee beverages) during their shift while they are working.
For all other items (and for days off), employees receive a 30% discount. Employees’ significant others (or their bestie) also receives the 30% discount whenever they come in.
All employees are welcome to take advantage of ‘at cost’ pricing for any item.
